Vilmorin-Mikado is partnering the 31st International Horticultural Congress (IHC) which will take place in Angers from August 14 to 20 this year.Go back
The IHC is held every four years on a different continent. Angers is taking over from Istanbul which hosted the congress in 2018.
It's a major event that brings together several thousand visitors: scientists from around the world, as well as industrial companies and students in the horticultural field.
As a local player and seed seller focused on innovation and international commerce, Vilmorin-Mikado felt it had to partner this congress. It will give it the opportunity to promote its little-known business lines to very high-level scientists.
In concrete terms, Vilmorin-Mikado will have a stand throughout the congress to present its business and latest innovations to attendees. In particular Terapur, the agro-ecological alternative to fight carrot cyst nematode.
The Vilmorin-Mikado plant will also offer one of the sixteen Technical Tours available on Wednesday 17 August in the afternoon. Attendees must register in advance to discover the La Ménitré site with the theme of vegetable seed production.
