A major and historical player in forestry, ornamental, and fruit rootstock seeds, Vilmorin-Mikado is pleased to announce the appointment of Catherine Ouahabi as the Director of Tree Seeds.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Catherine Ouahabi as the new Director of Tree Seeds at Vilmorin-Mikado. With 18 years’ experience within the company, Catherine has played a key role in the development of Customer Service for our Vegetable Seeds business, helping to continually improve customer satisfaction.

"Tree seeds is a very different environment from vegetable seeds, but that's exactly what I was looking for when I took on this new role. One of my objectives will be to see what synergies we can create between the two activities," she told us.

As Director of Tree Seeds, Catherine Ouahabi will focus on several key areas:

Seed quality: Ensuring that from harvest to market our tree and shrub seeds meet the high quality standards for which we are renowned.
Working with our customers: Strengthening relationships with our customers to offer tailor-made solutions adapted to their individual specific needs.
Adapting to climate change: Working closely with industry professionals to ensure the availability of the species most resistant to environmental challenges.
